Requirements
- Hold current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Specialist General Practitioner.
- Hold FRACGP or FACRRM qualifications.
- Have at least one year of full-time equivalent experience practising as a Specialist GP in Australia.
- Have a high level of English proficiency.
- Previous telehealth experience is desirable.
- Have strong digital literacy and confidence using telehealth platforms and clinical management systems.
- Have a reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams and SharePoint, AI-powered clinical documentation tools, telehealth platforms, and emerging healthcare technologies.
- Be able to manage basic technical setup and troubleshoot minor IT issues independently.
- Availability for overnight, weekend, December holiday-period, and rostered public holiday shifts is preferred.
- Complete paid training within the first two weeks of commencement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centred episodic care through video and telephone consultations.
- Provide timely, evidence-based medical advice and treatment recommendations.
- Create concise, actionable care summaries.
- Facilitate referrals to appropriate local healthcare services.
- Use My Health Record, electronic prescribing, and secure messaging platforms.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate with patients’ regular GPs where appropriate.
