Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of programming experience.
- Be familiar with event-oriented application architecture.
- Hold an AWS certification or be able to achieve one within 90 days.
- Be familiar with ETL processes and tools.
- Have experience with software documentation, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, network diagrams, and UML diagrams.
- Nice to have: experience with both backend and frontend programming languages.
- Nice to have: at least 2 years as an architect designing solutions on AWS.
- Nice to have: an AWS Professional or Specialty certification.
Responsibilities
- Design client solutions that meet requirements and budgets without over-engineering.
- Optimize solution designs across build, buy, open-source, and modular options to maximize client ROI.
- Create presentation materials and deliver presentations to align stakeholders, from C-suite leaders to developers, on the solution vision.
- Estimate tickets accurately to support resource allocation.
- Guide engineers toward right-sized, cost-effective solutions and prevent over-engineering.
- Contribute across SDLC phases, including sales, estimating, coding, and program management.
- Create project plans and tickets with accurate timelines and budgets.
- Publish technical content or host lunch-and-learns at least eight times per year.
