Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen and currently reside in the United States.
- Be willing to complete a Tier 1 background investigation, including fingerprinting.
- Have native or highly proficient Thai and English language skills.
- Have two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor.
- Have access to up-to-date Windows software and be able to work with standard document formats.
- Provide per-word rates for translation and editing.
- Be willing to accept assignments on an as-needed basis.
- A bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Have strong attention to detail and formatting skills, and be able to produce client-ready work.
Responsibilities
- Translate documents from Thai to English or English to Thai.
- Edit and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow client-specific instructions and formatting requirements.
- Meet assigned deadlines, including one-to-two-day turnaround timelines when required.
