Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for complex web application platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB in teams building large consumer-facing web applications from the ground up.
- Experience designing, developing, managing, and executing test cases, preferably using QA management tools.
- Proven test automation experience using Selenium and ability to write scripts and perform API testing.
- Experience with security, integration, end-to-end, and load testing.
- Experience with mobile application testing, browser compatibility, and accessibility testing.
- Experience identifying, analyzing, documenting, and reporting test results.
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent in English.
- Able to work 5+ hours per day during normal New York office hours.
Responsibilities
- Work within an agile team to ensure the quality of complex MEAN applications.
- Develop, modify, and execute functional test scripts and analyze bugs for systems in development.
- Work with developers to identify operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Create test automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium WebDriver.
- Automate API testing using Postman and similar tools.
- Perform load testing and suggest solutions for performance issues.
- Perform penetration testing and other security-related testing as needed.
- Record defect details, create reports on defects and resolutions, and update the regression test framework.
- Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint.
