Requirements
- Hold an AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps certification.
- Have 5+ experience in telecommunications or digital transformation projects.
- Bring strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Have proficiency in business process modelling tools and techniques.
- Be familiar with Business Support Systems (BSS).
- Understand Agile practices and frameworks.
- Be willing to travel 50% of the time to countries including Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
- Have a valid passport for the contract.
- Be fluent in English; French, Swahili, or Portuguese proficiency is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business needs.
- Ensure cloud operations follow security best practices and compliance standards.
- Lead cloud migration efforts while minimizing downtime.
- Analyze and implement cloud resource cost-optimization strategies.
- Manage API gateways to facilitate communication between services.
- Oversee data transformation processes for integration with other systems.
- Collaborate with third-party services to enhance system capabilities.
