Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional experience developing production software using Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern backend language.
- Have 1+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Have 1+ years of professional experience building applications with React.
- Have 3+ years of experience writing SQL and working with relational databases.
- Have practical experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Be able to evaluate AI-generated output and identify potential quality, security, and data governance risks.
- Have strong software engineering fundamentals, including software design, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver reliable production software.
- Experience with Java and Spring or Spring Boot is a nice to have.
- Experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, or Oracle is a nice to have.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies is a nice to have.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and API testing, CI/CD, or production deployment practices is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain features across the client's product portfolio.
- Build and support frontend applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and data-driven applications.
- Work with relational databases and SQL to support product functionality and data-intensive systems.
- Use AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, and optimization, and validate AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data, and QA teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, CI/CD workflows, and production readiness activities.
- Contribute to data visualization experiences and improve engineering practices.
- Ensure software is secure, observable, maintainable, and aligned with product and business priorities.
