Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; this is strongly preferred.
- Expected graduation in 2026, 2027, or 2028.
- Strong Python programming skills and PyTorch proficiency.
- Demonstrated understanding of transformer architectures and large language model pretraining.
- Understanding of the evolution toward reasoning models.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools as part of research and experimentation workflows.
- C++ or Rust exposure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to experiments in reasoning model training, post-training alignment, test-time scaling, and systematic model evaluation.
- Review and synthesize recent academic literature from NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and ACL to inform research directions.
- Implement model variants, training procedures including RLVR-based approaches, and evaluation protocols using PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem.
- Track and log experiments using Weights & Biases or an equivalent tool, maintaining reproducibility.
- Explore LLM reasoning applications to on-chain signals, market microstructure, and multi-modal market intelligence.
- Collaborate with applied engineering teams to understand how research findings translate into production constraints.
