Job Details

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
Have solid programming skills in Python or Java.
Bring problem-solving ability and comfort working with APIs, debugging, and data.
Be curious about LLMs, AI agents, automation, and real-world system design.
Be able to break down ambiguous problems and move from idea to working prototype.
Be available for a six-month full-time commitment.
Backend engineering familiarity is preferred.
Personal projects or coursework involving LLM applications, agent systems, automation, or AI-assisted development are a bonus.
Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, or workflow tools is a bonus.
Experience with Git, databases, backend services, or cloud platforms is a bonus.

Support the design and development of AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components.
Build and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, orchestration patterns, and backend integrations.
Assist in defining evaluation metrics, running benchmarks, and analyzing failure cases.
Improve system performance across quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost.
Use AI coding tools in the development and problem-solving workflow.
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on production AI system design, deployment, and improvement.
Contribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces when needed.
