Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience building production systems with Go and/or the MERN stack, including solid React experience.
- Bring strong backend fundamentals in concurrency, APIs, reliability, and debugging.
- Have hands-on experience with domain-driven design, including domain modeling and clean boundaries.
- Have strong PostgreSQL and MongoDB skills, including schema or collection design, indexing, query tuning, and migrations.
- Have experience with GORM, Mongoose, or similar ORMs/ODMs, and be comfortable using raw SQL or aggregation pipelines.
- Be proficient in React; TypeScript is preferred, including state management and form-heavy admin UIs.
- Apply good testing discipline, including Go testing, Jest or Vitest, integration tests, and frontend testing basics.
- Use AI coding tools such as Cursor or Copilot confidently every day, with disciplined verification and secure practices.
- Own feature delivery end-to-end, communicate clearly across teams, and balance long-term design with shipping.
- Be comfortable working through ambiguity and fast iteration.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product features across Go and Node.js/Express backends and a React frontend.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate delivery, refactoring, and test generation while verifying outputs and keeping code clean.
- Design backend services using DDD patterns, clean layering, and pragmatic architecture.
- Implement data models and migrations across PostgreSQL and MongoDB using GORM, Mongoose, or raw queries.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and, where needed, webhooks and event-driven workflows in Go and Node.js/Express.
- Implement React (TypeScript) dashboards, admin workflows, status lifecycles, and audit views.
- Ensure correctness and observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, and production-ready error handling.
- Contribute to RBAC, least-privilege access, safe secrets handling, and audit trails.
- Own unit, integration, and contract tests, as well as CI pipelines.
