Requirements
- Deep previous experience in the investment management industry and applicable data domains.
- Deep understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Deep understanding of integration design patterns and reporting solutions.
- Extensive experience designing and communicating technology solutions traceable to requirements.
- Significant organizational Agile transformation experience and proven delivery strategies.
- Previous experience in Agile program management, such as an RTE role.
- Significant experience with NiFi, Python, Kafka, Databricks, Informatica, or other integration technologies.
- Experience with data modeling tools such as Hackolade or ERwin.
- Experience with big data, data lakehouse, RDBMS, data warehouses, and data marts.
- Knowledge of metadata management products such as Collibra or Informatica EDC/AXON/CDGC.
- Understanding of data management principles, data governance lifecycle, and standards.
- Expertise in secure data service architecture, microservices, SQL and query patterns, cloud infrastructure, containerization/Kubernetes, and secure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Work with partners to understand business and technology problems and opportunities.
- Elaborate technical designs and physical data models with the head of data, data team, and analysts.
- Guide and govern standardized business logical data models, component reuse, and platform modernization.
- Lead the data design track and communicate solutions that accommodate changing requirements.
- Assist with implementing data governance standards and processes and maintaining information assets.
- Establish reusable, standardized, and secure data domains for the Wealth/Global Investments business.
- Support self-governance of data models and catalogs, including business data terms, critical data elements, and rules.
- Take architectural designs through architecture reviews and support implementation from infrastructure setup through delivery.
- Run the software delivery pod and oversee delivery of working software from requirements through production.
- Coordinate backlog prioritization, complex releases, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement.
