Requirements
- Have experience building, training, evaluating, and deploying ML models in production.
- Have strong experience using PyTorch, JAX, or other deep learning frameworks to develop and optimize models.
- Have strong software engineering ability to build and maintain complex systems and work with large-scale datasets.
- Be able to solve open-ended problems and quickly learn new domains.
- Be comfortable working with significant ownership and autonomy and balancing model sophistication, velocity, inference, and business constraints.
- Hold a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Build, train, evaluate, and deploy computer vision and multimodal models from prototype through production.
- Design systems that infer structured attributes and spatial context from imagery using learned models, geometric reasoning, and heuristics.
- Train and fine-tune models on large, diverse image datasets and build pipelines to curate and label data at scale.
- Work with vision-language models and build evaluation frameworks to measure their accuracy.
- Develop and benchmark image retrieval using embedding models and vector indexing strategies.
- Optimize inference latency and throughput using distillation, quantization, and GPU acceleration.
- Read research, prototype algorithms, and turn promising ideas into production code.
- Implement scalable data pipelines, inference infrastructure, and high-performance ML and data engineering tools.
