Requirements
- Experience as a Data Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related role in analytics and master data environments.
- Practical data profiling skills using SQL.
- Practical data profiling skills using Excel and Power Query.
- Experience working with product data and master data.
- Experience with PIM/MDM tools and Data Quality processes.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to document business rules.
- Knowledge of Data Governance concepts.
- Stakeholder management skills at the business and IT interface.
- Fluent English for daily project work.
- Practical familiarity with STEP / Stibo Systems is a plus.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks data warehouses is a plus.
- Knowledge of Parts & Accessories / Aftermarket, product compatibility data, or installed-base data is a plus.
- Experience working with Power BI / BI teams or implementing recommendation engines is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, business rules, and use cases, and translate them into requirements for data structures and attributes.
- Map attributes to source systems and assess data quality, completeness, and consistency.
- Profile data mainly using SQL and Excel/Power Query.
- Identify data gaps and their root causes.
- Coordinate data remediation and enrichment with Master Data teams before BI implementation.
- Define data ownership principles, glossary definitions, quality standards, and stewardship practices.
- Coordinate work between business stakeholders, product teams, and BI developers.
- Manage project risks and task prioritization.
