Requirements
- Be proficient in at least one programming language used in automation; JavaScript is preferred.
- Have consolidated experience with Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks.
- Have advanced practical experience testing and automating REST APIs.
- Have practical knowledge of CI/CD strategies, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Have experience with version control using Git.
- Have experience with agile methodologies and translating requirements into effective automation strategies.
- Be able to communicate effectively in direct technical interactions with clients.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving, including anticipating complex business scenarios, edge cases, and non-obvious application behavior.
- Be adaptable and able to work autonomously in dynamic, iterative delivery environments.
- Contract testing knowledge, Docker, and automated performance or load testing with k6 or JMeter are differentiators.
Responsibilities
- Develop, architect, and maintain automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and REST APIs.
- Integrate and optimize automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines to provide continuous feedback.
- Analyze complex test scenarios and turn them into clean, reusable, maintainable code.
- Work with development teams and clients to align automation strategies, mocks, and test data.
- Monitor and analyze flaky tests and failures in automated test runs.
