Requirements
- Solid experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with .NET Worker Services or equivalent backend processing.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger and JSON.
- Experience with SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or AKS.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization in APIs.
- Experience troubleshooting and analyzing existing applications.
- Knowledge of resilience patterns, including retry, backoff, and failure handling.
- Practical experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Cosmos DB SDK is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing C#/.NET applications and data flows.
- Develop and evolve .NET Worker Services.
- Develop APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Implement data integration and persistence with Azure Cosmos DB.
- Work with data sourced from SQL Server and support consistency checks between SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Implement JSON serialization and contracts, and evolve REST/OpenAPI APIs with versioning, filtering, sorting, and pagination.
- Implement API authentication and authorization using patterns such as OAuth2/OIDC.
- Develop idempotency, retry/backoff, failure-handling, and reprocessing mechanisms.
- Implement logs, metrics, telemetry, and unit, integration, and contract tests.
- Work on applications running in Kubernetes/AKS and shift between solution components as backlog priorities change.
