- Minimum of 2 years of experience (addiction or mental health preferred; strong candidates with less experience considered)
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Illinois.
- Hold an active license in your state of residence if it differs from Illinois.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience; addiction or mental health experience is preferred, and strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
- Have experience prescribing Suboxone.
- Hold an active DEA registration.
- Be willing to obtain additional state licenses; the cost is covered by Affect.
- Be comfortable using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.
- Have a private, quiet workspace and reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations.
- Provide care for substance use and mental health conditions.
- Prescribe medications as appropriate and respond to member questions.
- Complete timely documentation in the Healthie EHR.
- Collaborate with the care team and participate in scheduled team meetings.
