Requirements
- Have 5+ years of application development experience.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience developing code using AWS serverless architecture, native services, and containers.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience supporting applications on AWS.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Java and experience with front-end frameworks including Angular, TypeScript, or React.
- Have experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js and scripting languages such as JavaScript or PHP.
- Have database management experience with DynamoDB and Aurora DB.
- Have experience with API development and integration, DevOps, and deployment.
- Have testing, debugging, security, data protection, and performance optimization experience.
- Be familiar with Git, Agile and Scrum methodologies, and project collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Have experience working on Agile projects, large projects, and with multiple teams.
- Preferred: relevant professional certifications; experience with F5 and NGINX; and experience with Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, or integrating LLM capabilities into web applications.
Responsibilities
- Participate in sprint planning, estimate story points, and commit to planned user stories.
- Implement code using AWS native services and serverless technologies.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Angular and TypeScript and microservices using Java.
- Maintain code quality and application responsiveness, and participate in code reviews.
- Optimize application performance and scalability and enhance software efficiency.
- Work with architects and product teams to understand functional challenges, prototype ideas, and develop solutions.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and diagrams, and implement solutions according to architectural and business requirements.
- Maintain operational and system-level documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, UX designers, system administrators, and analysts.
