Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience with MySQL Database Administration/Architecture.
- Bring strong hands-on experience with MySQL and SQL.
- Have experience with indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Have experience with MySQL Replication and InnoDB.
- Have experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery.
- Have experience with database migration and upgrade projects.
- Have a strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable MySQL database architectures.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and migrate MySQL databases.
- Tune and optimize database performance and troubleshoot database issues.
- Design and manage high availability, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Work with development and infrastructure teams on database design and best practices.
- Monitor database health, capacity, security, and availability.
- Troubleshoot complex production database issues.
