Requirements
- Have 4–7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or Cloud Data Platform development.
- Have strong hands-on experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
- Have proven experience developing Snowflake solutions and working with Snowflake in production.
- Understand Snowflake data modeling, including databases, schemas, roles, permissions, and security policies.
- Have experience with Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Stages.
- Have strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Have experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration processes.
- Have experience with cloud data platforms and distributed data processing concepts.
- Know a programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understand data formats such as Parquet, ORC, and Avro.
- Have experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Have experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions and participating in the full solution lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Snowflake data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes, including migration of on-premise data workflows to cloud platforms.
- Design and implement Snowflake data models, schemas, databases, roles, and security policies.
- Build and maintain Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Stages.
- Optimize SQL queries, data models, and processing workflows for performance and scalability.
- Develop batch and real-time data processing solutions for structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, automation, and deployment processes.
