Requirements
- Be a regular game player with a passion for the video games industry.
- Have native-level Malay, including excellent spelling and grammar.
- Have a good command of Simplified Chinese and English.
- Have gaming LQA experience.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in computer science, game design, or a related field is a plus.
- Have basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Understand digital technologies such as mobile devices, tablets, and browser tools.
- Be able to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Be detail-oriented and able to work well in a team environment.
- Be available for freelance contract work; immediate availability is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization or linguistic issues, and verify fixes using test tools or databases.
- Follow test cases and checklists to perform targeted testing and execute testing procedures.
- Write bug descriptions according to company standards and client specifications.
- Apply knowledge of target-market user preferences to the client’s product.
- Look for gaps in test coverage.
- Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product.
- Provide feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on target-market knowledge.
