Requirements
- Hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: have 1+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity.
- Be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Have a basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Be well-versed in at least one of cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems.
- Experience tinkering with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Samsara products, including IoT, AI, and computer vision solutions for physical operations.
- Conduct efficient discovery to understand customer needs and answer technical questions, aiming to do so in a single call.
- Provide standard demo and account coverage and temporary technical expertise across the sales team.
- Explain to prospects how Samsara devices are installed.
- Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts using the Samsara API in a testing environment.
- Advocate for account executives, prospects, and customers in internal technical conversations.
- Translate technical feedback between product and sales teams and enroll appropriate customers in beta programs.
