Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Modern Java (Java 17/21+).
- Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing distributed and high-throughput backend services.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or better.
- Academic or practical background in probability, statistics, or mathematical modeling.
- Production experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL structures.
- Experience with scripting languages for automation or data verification.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tooling such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize highly transactional, scalable, and low-latency server-side game services and APIs using Modern Java (Java 17/21+).
- Work directly with domain experts and mathematicians to translate mathematical specifications and formulas into performant backend services.
- Standardize core calculation logic and business rules into reusable backend components.
- Drive clean design patterns for robust, maintainable service layers with a focus on high-throughput performance.
- Build, scale, and maintain high-volume simulation frameworks to run calculations at scale.
- Write unit tests and optimize service performance to ensure reliable, high-quality output.
- Participate in code reviews and support team growth.
