Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including expertise in Python, R, and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex analytical models and techniques.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of data management best practices, including data quality, security, and privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating across organizations, building consensus, and obtaining required system authorizations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning solutions to address complex business and mission requirements.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and actionable insights.
- Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models using appropriate analytical techniques and methodologies.
- Perform data exploration, preparation, transformation, feature engineering, and statistical analysis to support modeling and decision-making.
- Develop analytical solutions using Python, R, SQL, and other appropriate data science technologies.
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and analytical products using business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
