Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification (or board eligibility) in Psychiatry.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state.
- Active DEA registration.
- 2+ years of post-residency psychiatric practice.
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and EHRs.
- Located in the United States.
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for members with behavioral health needs such as depression, anxiety, and mood concerns.
- Develop evidence-based treatment recommendations, including medication management where appropriate.
- Coordinate with primary care providers and existing behavioral health providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Review and guide care plans developed by nurses, social workers, and care navigators.
- Consult with the care team on complex cases and support safety escalation protocols.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation for all evaluations and consultations.
