Requirements
- Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred; Python, C, C++, or Rust acceptable).
- Proven experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping products.
- Experience developing software for the Cloud.
- Experience with systems engineering.
- Ability to write clean, robust, and performant maintainable software.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a bonus.
- Operational knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus is a bonus.
- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems is a bonus.
- Familiarity with SRE tasks, operations, or infrastructure as code is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical distributed telemetry systems.
- Drive projects from initial ideation through implementation and operations.
- Participate in team on-call rotations and take ownership of services.
- Influence the product roadmap and your own career objectives.
- Collaborate with teammates in a remote environment through design discussions and code reviews.
- Contribute to open-source projects outside of the team's immediate scope.
