Requirements
- 5+ years of direct RPGLE programming experience.
- Strong proficiency in RPG IV (ILE RPG) and RPG Free.
- Experience with CL programming and embedded SQL.
- Hands-on experience on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platforms.
- Solid understanding of DB2 databases, including data access optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience writing code and creating documentation.
- Experience validating programs.
- Experience with QA and testing applications and modifications to legacy applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement RPGLE applications.
- Support and maintain existing IBM iSeries (AS/400) applications.
- Write CL programs and Embedded SQL for application development.
- Optimize DB2 database performance and data access.
- Debug, validate, and test application enhancements and legacy system modifications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain technical documentation.
