Requirements
- 5+ years of instructional design experience in B2B SaaS, developer tooling, or high-growth tech environments.
- Proven project management experience as an autonomous individual contributor.
- Hands-on experience defining requirements for LMS implementations, migrations, or custom builds.
- Deep understanding of LMS standards including SCORM, xAPI, and LTI.
- Technical aptitude in navigating API documentation, cloud architectures, and developer workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Articulate 360, Camtasia, Loom, and Figma.
- Familiarity with transitioning out of platforms like Skilljar into custom environments.
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping (SAM).
- Strong consultative skills to influence peers and manage stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central driver for learning initiatives and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead the business ownership and migration from Skilljar to a custom-built LMS.
- Define system requirements for authoring workflows and learner UX.
- Architect end-to-end learning pathways, role-based certifications, and self-paced academies.
- Design scenario-based, interactive learning experiences including simulations and API/code tutorials.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to translate technical specs into learning content.
- Track learner telemetry to measure ROI on customer and internal enablement.
