Requirements
- 6+ years of commercial backend or full-stack experience in production environments.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Experience with microservice and event-driven architectures in production.
- Expertise in designing schemas and optimizing queries in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Redis caching patterns.
- Advanced AWS knowledge including ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Experience with zero-downtime production system migrations.
- Fluent (C1) in Polish and English.
- Nice to have: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitHub Actions.
Responsibilities
- Migrate serverless functions from AWS Lambda to containerized ECS services incrementally on live traffic with parallel validation.
- Design and maintain backend microservices using TypeScript and NestJS deployed on AWS ECS.
- Monitor service reliability and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Write testable code and maintain test coverage with unit and integration tests.
- Document architectural decisions, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Design and document RESTful APIs focused on security (authN/authZ) and performance.
