Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree, with emphasis in translation, localization, linguistics or game design preferred.
- Native proficiency in Danish with exceptional grammar skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Relevant prior gaming experience for accurately translating content in a gaming context.
- Experience in professional translation/localization work, specifically games and technical translation.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adjust to quick turnaround times.
- Experience working with computer assisted translation tools like Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados or Wordfast.
- Strong knowledge of different Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint).
Responsibilities
- Translate written materials with high quality including new game releases, marketing materials, and support knowledge base articles.
- Manage both short-term and long-term localization projects effectively.
- Reprioritize workflow as needed to accommodate last-minute changes to source material.
- Collaborate within a team-driven environment to deliver best-in-class localization services.
- Maintain high standards for customer-facing literature across multiple formats.
