Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
- Experience working with REST APIs using WebClient and RestTemplate
- Knowledge of resilience patterns including retry, idempotency, and timeout
- Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Experience in designing and implementing system integrations
- Ability to work with distributed systems
- Experience working with payment systems or payment gateways (nice to have)
- Knowledge of payment standards and protocols such as ISO 20022 (nice to have)
- Experience with E2E testing and performance optimization (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement REST integrations (including VIA REST)
- Develop and maintain core platform components using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement resilience mechanisms such as retry, idempotency, and timeout
- Create and maintain REST clients using WebClient and RestTemplate
- Lead technical spikes regarding REST, mTLS, and system integrations
- Collaborate on system integration architecture
- Support E2E testing and application performance tuning
- Containerize applications and support deployment processes
- Work with payment and settlement system integrations
