Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling, particularly in data warehouses, lakehouse, or BigQuery.
- Proficiency in designing data models using Data Vault 2.0, Kimball, or 3NF approaches.
- Knowledge of data modeling tools (Enterprise Architect preferred).
- Understanding of requirements and regulations specific to the banking sector.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data models.
- Experience collaborating with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Very good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Data Governance, including Data Catalog, data lineage, and Data Quality.
- Practical experience designing BigQuery-based solutions.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and processes supporting model implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models, focusing on logical layers and defining relationships between business areas.
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with reporting layer design teams.
- Design and develop data warehouses within the GCP environment.
- Develop and maintain metadata and documentation for data models.
- Ensure data quality and adherence to documentation standards and GDPR requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and evolve data models.
