Requirements
- 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience with a publisher or brand.
- Deep understanding of the Complex Sports and ComplexBets voice and tone.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro.
- Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
- Extensive knowledge of sports and sports betting culture.
- Fluency in all major social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.
- Ability to work nights and occasional holidays to cover live events.
- Knowledge of streetwear/fashion and its connection to pop culture, sports, and music.
- Quick decision-making and self-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Execute the voice of Complex Sports/Complex Bets across Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Create and curate content for all assigned social platforms.
- Lead community management, moderation, and DM management.
- Surface and pitch viral, breaking, and social-friendly content to the news team.
- Develop creative assets using Photoshop and Premiere/CapCut.
- Ideate and source original real-time content, identifying memes and emerging trends.
- Support social growth, traffic, and engagement goals with vertical-specific tactics.
