Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript, including advanced language features and complex type definitions.
- Strong experience with server-side TypeScript and Node.js, including developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience with a modern frontend framework such as Svelte, SvelteKit, React, Next.js, or similar.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL, including database schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
- Strong understanding of software testing, code quality, and maintainable development practices.
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based development workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience deploying or supporting cloud-based applications.
- Experience contributing to architecture and technical design decisions for production applications.
- Demonstrated practical experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
- Ability to clearly articulate the capabilities and limitations of AI tools in software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex features across both frontend and backend systems.
- Build scalable, maintainable applications using TypeScript across the client and server.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and server-side applications using Node.js and modern TypeScript frameworks.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using frameworks such as Svelte/SvelteKit or comparable technologies.
- Design and maintain relational database schemas, migrations, and queries with a focus on performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD workflows and use Docker to support consistent local and development environments.
- Work with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures to deploy and operate production applications.
- Actively leverage AI-assisted development tools for planning, coding, testing, and debugging.
