Requirements
- Deep hands on Snowflake platform expertise
- Experience with Snowflake architecture, scaling, cost and performance optimization, best practices, and governance
- Experience with data platform architecture
- Experience with data lake or lakehouse design
- Experience with data modelling and data quality
- Practical experience applying AI or GenAI on top of a data platform
- Strong communication and stakeholder facing skills
- Ability to run discovery workshops or sessions
- Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and present initiatives to leadership
- Strategic mindset to assess a data ecosystem and propose concrete initiatives
Responsibilities
- Assess the overall data ecosystem and data platform strategy
- Run discovery activities with stakeholders
- Challenge existing approaches and present initiatives to leadership
- Propose concrete initiatives for platform improvement
- Support Snowflake architecture decisions
- Improve platform scaling, governance, and cost and performance optimization
- Contribute to data lake or lakehouse design
- Contribute to data modelling and data quality practices
- Apply AI and GenAI capabilities on top of the data platform
