Requirements
- Very good knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js with production backend development experience.
- Experience with Temporal or another durable execution engine.
- Understanding of determinism, replays, retries, durable timers, and workflow versioning.
- Proficiency in handling idempotency, deduplication, partial failures, and process compensation.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable systems, horizontal worker scaling, and bottleneck management.
- Production-level PostgreSQL expertise (query optimization, indexing, partitioning, transactions, migrations).
- Experience with Redis (caching, TTL, data consistency).
- Proficiency in Azure or AWS with readiness to work across both.
- Expertise in REST API, webhooks, and SSE (authentication, authorization, data isolation, secret management).
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, integration and load testing, monitoring, and debugging.
- Experience working with AI agents for code implementation, testing, and analysis.
- English language proficiency at a C1 level.
Responsibilities
- Develop product backend, API, and workflow graph execution mechanisms.
- Build and maintain integrations with external customer systems.
- Execute client-side deployments and system integrations.
- Scale worker processes and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Design technical modules, perform testing, manage production diagnostics, and conduct code reviews.
