Requirements
- Senior-level commercial experience with Rust
- Strong understanding of Rust
- Practical experience with unsafe Rust and memory-safety concepts
- Experience with Rust ↔ C++ FFI, ideally using cxx
- Experience creating safe Rust wrappers around C++ APIs
- Experience designing and maintaining public library APIs
- Knowledge of Rust build tooling, including build.rs and native library linking
- Experience with cross-platform development
- Working knowledge of Qt 6 / QML and C++17
- Good written and spoken English
- Independence and good communication skills in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Develop production-quality Rust code and, where necessary, C++
- Work on Rust ↔ C++ interoperability and safe FFI abstractions
- Design and develop public Rust APIs
- Contribute to Qt 6 API
- Write automated tests and technical documentation
- Work on memory-safety and security aspects of the library
- Maintain cross-platform builds for Linux, Windows/MSVC and macOS
- Participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with an international engineering team
