Requirements
- Very good commercial experience in C++ programming.
- Experience working with large, mature, or legacy codebases.
- Very good knowledge of low-level programming.
- Practical knowledge of pointers, pointer arithmetic, manual memory management, bounds checking, and memory safety.
- Experience identifying and removing native code vulnerabilities including buffer overflow, memory corruption, and unsafe input handling.
- Experience with threading and multithreading.
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Very good debugging and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience collaborating with architects, QA, and security teams.
- Good knowledge of SQL and secure database access principles.
- Familiarity with Qt or similar desktop GUI frameworks (preferred).
- Experience with Windows / Windows Server environments (preferred).
- Experience with Oracle Database (preferred).
- Knowledge of ISAM or other legacy data storage technologies (preferred).
- Experience in Secure Software Development (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Analyze security requirements and identified product vulnerabilities.
- Implement changes to enhance product security.
- Remediate vulnerabilities such as buffer overflows, memory corruption, unsafe input handling, and SQL injection.
- Maintain and develop code with complex pointer logic and manual memory management.
- Maintain and develop components utilizing threading and multithreading.
- Analyze impact of planned changes and regression risks.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA, and security experts.
