Requirements
- Working experience with digital map or navigation solutions.
- Experience in software or system analysis and in creating technical documentation.
- In-depth technical understanding of software architectures, data models, APIs, schemas, data flows, and semantics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, design documents, and configuration details.
- Strong interviewing and consulting skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical documentation of existing complex map solutions and map data systems.
- Work directly with engineers, architects, and technical leaders to understand map data publishing, including data models, APIs, schemas, pipelines, and semantics.
- Identify and reach out to subject-matter experts across a large organization to document undocumented information.
- Translate complex software, data, and semantic concepts into clear, structured, and accurate documentation.
- Review technical specifications and engineering materials to extract and organize system knowledge.
- Structure documentation for both human technical guidance and AI systems.
- Design and maintain information architecture and documentation standards that scale.
- Spot gaps, ambiguities, and inconsistencies in documentation and resolve them with relevant teams.
- Validate documentation for technical accuracy with engineering and product stakeholders.
