Requirements
- STEM-related degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate).
- 5-8 years of experience creating machine learning algorithms for production.
- Experience with LLM engineering: fine-tuning (GPT-4, Claude, open-source), RAG implementation, and evaluation frameworks.
- Expertise in generative AI applications including multimodal solutions, vector databases, and embedding models.
- Proficiency in Python (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy) and SQL.
- Familiarity with Linux/Mac command-line tools.
- Experience with traditional ML algorithms (classification, regression) and MLOps.
- Demonstrated experience owning, maintaining, and enhancing software data products.
- Strong knowledge of agile development (SCRUM, Kanban), testing, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
- Experience mentoring and training junior team members through pair programming.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of ML applications across the product portfolio with a focus on generative AI and LLM solutions.
- Act as a hands-on technical leader to shape architecture, coding standards, and software engineering best practices.
- Partner with multiple engineering teams to promote code reusability, shared libraries, and UX-driven design.
- Transform machine learning research into viable prototypes and production-grade algorithms.
- Meet with stakeholders, product managers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical strategies.
- Engage with external customers as a consultant or solution Machine Learning Engineer.
- Document and share findings on emerging industry tools and techniques with colleagues.
