Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on software development experience across multiple language ecosystems.
- 3+ years of engineering leadership experience as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager in a product company.
- Solid working knowledge of at least 3 of: Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, or PHP.
- Hands-on experience with security research or vulnerability analysis (e.g., CVE triage, patch backporting).
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Experience with dependency management tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle, npm, pip, Go modules).
- Proven experience with technical delivery and accountability for team outcomes.
- Experience building or improving engineering processes from scratch.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
- Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop four teams covering Java, JavaScript/Go, Python, and PHP (total ~18 engineers).
- Set and enforce standards for CVE analysis, vulnerability assessment, and patch backporting.
- Drive consistency in tooling and workflows including CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Evaluate and guide AI-assisted automation for backporting and vulnerability discovery.
- Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex or cross-team security issues.
- Own SLA compliance and align team efforts with client delivery commitments.
- Improve development workflows and coordinate internal documentation.
