Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience across the full stack (front-end and back-end).
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (Java or C#) and architectural design patterns for scalable applications.
- Eligibility for Non-Police-Personnel-Vetting Level 3 (NPPV3) clearance.
- Experience developing scalable server/gateway applications and client-server communication models.
- Experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React).
- Exposure to mobile (Android/iOS using Kotlin, Swift, or React Native) or Windows UI frameworks (WPF, WinUI).
- Proven experience working in remote Agile (Scrum) engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performing, fault-tolerant full-stack software applications for emergency services.
- Write scalable, maintainable code using general-purpose languages such as C# or Java, alongside modern web frameworks.
- Collaborate asynchronously and synchronously with cross-functional Agile team members (Product, QA, Architecture).
- Drive system architecture improvements to guarantee zero-downtime reliability for emergency responders.
