Requirements
- Several years of professional bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proven experience managing books for a US or other Western company
- High proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Strong experience with Shopify bookkeeping and integration tools like Link My Books
- Experience with reconciliations and transaction categorization
- Experience with inventory-related bookkeeping
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong attention to detail and high responsiveness
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile credit card and other financial accounts
- Manage Shopify transactions and ensure proper integration with books
- Assist with inventory-related bookkeeping and reconciliation
- Monitor financial records and ensure transactions are properly categorized
- Assist with sales tax calculations, filings, and remittance
- Identify bookkeeping issues proactively and recommend solutions
