Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Migration (EC2, EBS, VPCs, Migration Hub, MGN).
- Proficiency in VMware environment assessment and migration planning.
- Experience with 'Rehost' migration strategies from on-prem VMware to AWS EC2.
- Familiarity with migration tools such as Cloud Endure, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), and Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture, security, compliance, and core services like S3, Auto-scaling, Landing Zone, and Control Tower.
- Expertise in vSphere, vCenter, ESX, and NSX ecosystems.
- Experience with container platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of solutions in Application Development, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning.
- Execute workload migration from on-premise datacenter environments to AWS.
- Perform VMware environment assessment and migration planning.
- Manage wave planning, dependency analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Troubleshoot Windows and Linux OS issues during migration processes.
