Requirements

  • Advanced degree in science.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in promotional medical education.
  • Proven experience with advisory boards, speaker programs, and slide decks.
  • Experience in oncology, preferably within solid tumors (e.g., Glioma, ALL, Gastric/GEA, breast).
  • Proficiency in established professional medical editorial processes and AMA style.
  • Strong understanding of ethical guidelines in medical communications.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex scientific data.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects under tight deadlines with limited direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee scientific content planning for assigned oncology accounts.
  • Provide strategic medical communication recommendations to support brand goals.
  • Lead the execution of content development activities independently.
  • Supervise and mentor Associate Scientific Directors.
  • Collaborate with internal and freelance staff to manage writing and content tasks.
  • Conduct background research, data-checking, and reference annotation.
