Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and a graduate of a school of nursing for Advanced Practice Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in area of specialty.
- Board certification by AANP or ANCC.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Multi-state licensure including FL and at least 3 of the following: VA, GA, MI, MO, OH, PA, TN, TX, IL, LA.
- Minimum 4 years of acute or primary care clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to obtain independent/autonomous practice as an NP in applicable states.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for meetings and state-mandated onsite observations.
- Availability to work Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Assess acute and non-acute clinical problems through virtual video conference or telephone.
- Perform and document physical evaluations and patient histories.
- Develop and implement patient management plans based on clinical findings.
- Coordinate care including health education, specialist referrals, and patient counseling.
- Collaborate with patients' primary care physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes.
- Utilize data to enhance telehealth practices and program effectiveness.
- Adhere to departmental standards and regulatory compliance.
