Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in payer and provider enrollment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF software.
- Experience with provider enrollment auditing and quality assurance.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to be motivated and learn quickly.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare contracts (preferred).
- Experience with New York, Florida, and Maryland provider enrollment (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Complete provider payer enrollment, credentialing, and recredentialing with identified payers.
- Resolve enrollment issues by collaborating with physicians, office staff, management, and insurers.
- Explain submission requirements for credentialing processes to providers and office managers.
- Obtain and verify updated provider information from licensing boards, malpractice insurance, and training programs.
- Create and maintain tracking matrices or databases to support enrollment functions.
- Communicate payer enrollment updates and provider numbers to practice operations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in primary source verification data.
- Search for process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
