Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience in Node.js (C#, Java, or C++ experience also relevant).
- Solid working experience with React.
- Proven production experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong skills with both relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Solid experience designing, building, and integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS or a similar cloud provider.
- Ability to own a module or technical project end to end and drive it independently.
- Strong software design fundamentals (principles, patterns) and a self-driven approach to problem-solving.
- English — Upper-Intermediate level and above, with strong verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services using microservices and containerized solutions on AWS.
- Participate in architectural decisions, research, and design to deliver robust, maintainable software.
- Model data and build/integrate REST APIs with third-party systems; contribute to frontend where needed.
- Work directly with Product and stakeholders to shape requirements and translate them into well-scoped tasks.
- Mentor teammates, promote knowledge sharing, and uphold coding standards.
- Continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and maintainability while keeping up with industry trends.
