Requirements
- Experience shipping ML systems to production.
- Hands-on production experience with LLMs (prompting, retrieval, tool calling, and agent-style workflows).
- Rigorous approach to model evaluation, including building datasets and frameworks.
- Strong ML fundamentals and ability to reason about tradeoffs.
- Comfort with ambiguity and translating loose problems into production solutions.
- Solid engineering skills with production-quality code and familiarity with distributed systems.
- Ability to debug complex ML pipelines.
- Clear communication skills for technical and clinical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own ML projects end-to-end from exploration through production deployment and iteration.
- Build agentic LLM systems using multi-step workflows, tool use, retrieval, and orchestration.
- Develop evaluation sets, offline and online harnesses, and LLM-as-judge pipelines with human review.
- Improve model quality using methods such as prompting, retrieval, distillation, or fine-tuning.
- Work across the full AI stack, including data preparation, model adaptation, serving, and monitoring.
- Partner with Product, Clinical, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical decisions.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and share technical knowledge across the team.
