Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in a QA Automation Engineer or SDET role.
- Proficiency in at least one major automation testing framework (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with API testing and basic to mid-level database SQL skills.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Intermediate to advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to debug script failures and understand source code changes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver automated UI and API test scripts while performing maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to best automation practices like DRY principles and Page Object Models.
- Implement local execution validations to ensure script reliability.
- Engage in daily stand-ups, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.
- Participate in code reviews by providing and receiving feedback.
- Contribute to technical testing documentation and repository readmes.
- Follow Git workflows and CI/CD pipeline execution processes.
