Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Proven experience operating serverless and Kubernetes environments at scale.
- Strong AWS expertise including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and VPC.
- Strong Kubernetes/EKS experience including networking and observability.
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code skills (Terraform preferred).
- Strong CI/CD pipeline design experience.
- Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and reliability engineering.
- Track record of improving reliability and reducing operational toil.
- Experience collaborating closely with multiple engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Architects to implement and operationalize platform strategy.
- Lead the technical design and delivery of platform capabilities across serverless-first AWS workloads and Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
- Break down large architectural initiatives into executable milestones.
- Drive systemic improvements to reduce incident frequency and severity.
- Strengthen observability standards including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Improve CI/CD automation and deployment workflows.
- Establish golden paths for deployment and monitoring.
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate platform engineering standards.
