- Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience, including at least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience and 1 year of online tutoring experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience.
- Active teaching or tutoring experience within the past 2 years.
- At least 1 year of online tutoring experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. curriculum and grading standards.
- Subject matter expertise in Biology, with ability to tutor additional science subjects.
- Ability to provide tutoring for students from 6th grade through college level.
- Access to a fast and reliable internet connection.
- Must possess a computer or laptop with a microphone and camera (stylus pen highly recommended).
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1-on-1 online instruction in Biology for students ranging from 6th grade to college level.
- Support additional science subjects including Chemistry, Environmental Science, or general high school science.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet students' individual learning needs and academic goals.
- Communicate effectively with students to foster academic confidence and clarity.
- Maintain a professional and quiet environment for online tutoring sessions.
